A 3-month-old, previously healthy, full-term male infant is brought to the pediatric emergency department for a 2-day history of non-bilious, projectile vomiting after feeds. The parents report decreased wet diapers. On physical exam, the infant is irritable but non-toxic. Vital signs are normal. The abdomen is soft but mildly distended. In the right upper quadrant, you palpate a smooth, mobile, non-tender mass approximately 3 cm in diameter. The rest of the exam is unremarkable.
